در هر کوششی که برای تبیین و بررسی ریشه های احساسات شیعیان در اسلام بکار میرود باید سعی کرد که به تفصیل قدیمی ترین رویدادها که در آن چنین احساسات و عواطفی جلوه گر می شود را بررسی نمود. The history of a people in every branch, be it political, cultural, religious, or constitutional, is an unbroken continuity. تاریخ بشری در هر شاخه و زمینه چه سیاسی مذهبی فرهنگی و یا تشکیلاتی همواره وجود داشته است.
